伊藤からのメッセージ
突然の発表で驚かせてしまいすみません。脱退に関して皆様には申し訳ない気持ちでいっぱいです、本当にごめんなさい。
2006年からDeath I Amのオリジナルメンバーとして約9年程活動して来ました。その長い活動の中で自分のやりたい音楽の変化や生活の環境の変化が徐々に出てきて、色々と考える事が多くなりました。その考えが徐々に大きくなってしまって、そのような状態で活動するのはバンド、バンドメンバー、ファンの方々にとっても良くないと考え、バンドメンバーとも相談の結果、脱退する事に決めました。Death I Amの音楽が嫌になったとかメンバー間の仲が悪くなったとかでは決してないですが、誠に勝手ながらこれからはDeath I Amのいちファンとして見守っていきたいと思ってます。
Death I Amに加入してから、メンバーやファンの方々、関わってくれた皆様、周りの人達に本当に感謝しています。本当にありがとうございました。現在、Death I Amは2ndAlbumを制作中です。どうかこれからもDeath I Amの応援をよろしくお願いします。
メンバーからのメッセージ
伊藤がDeath I Amのオリジナルメンバーとして約9年間バンドを支えてきてくれたことに心から感謝します。特に、オリジナルメンバーの鶴田とジェイコブにとって伊藤は、人生の様々なシーンを共に過ごしてきた、まさに親友と言える存在で、これからもそれは変わりません。また、メタルだけに囚われない伊藤のベースアプローチはDeath I Amのユニークな要素の一つだったので、今回の脱退を残念に思います。ですが、彼の決意は本人にとってベストだと理解し、これからの伊藤の活動をDeath I Am一同応援していきます。
後任のベーシストについて
伊藤の後を継ぐ新しいベーシストは募集しません。Death I Amは今後、ギターの鶴田、ボーカルのジェイコブ、ドラムのカズのスリーピースで活動していきます。その理由は、今のこの三人のケミストリーがDeath I Am史上最もタイトだと感じているからです。音楽性や性格の相性、ライフスタイルの一致など様々な要因に加えて、特に全員が英語で日常会話以上のコミュニケーションが取れるということがプラスに働いています。今までは言葉の壁からバンド内でのコミュニケーションがスムーズにいかない部分も若干ありましたが、現メンバーの三人では四六時中英語でやり取りをしています。他のバンドでは当たり前のことかもしれませんが、メンバー全員が全員と常にコミュニケーションをとれ、互いの状況や考えていることを把握できる理想の形になりました。メンバー間でのアイディア交換の量も何倍にも増え、物事の決断スピードも格段に上がり、常にインスピレーションが湧いています。Death I Amでは今最高の化学反応が起きているとメンバー全員が感じています。Death I Amは今最高の状態にあり、現在制作中の2ndアルバムも胸を張って発表できるものに仕上がると確信しています。尚、2ndアルバムのベースのレコーディングは鶴田が担当する予定です。ライブでは、サポートベーシストを招いて活動をしていきたいと考えています。
これが新しいDeath I Amの完成形です。この新体制で作った作品を一日も早く皆さんに届けライブで一緒に暴れたい気持ちでいっぱいです。

Message from Ito
I want to apologize to everyone for the sudden news, I also feel very sorry for leaving the band.
As an original member of Death I Am, I have played bass with this band for 9 years, since 2006. As time passed I realized my musical direction and environment were gradually changing. It got to the point where I was not sure if I could continue with the band. After consulting with the member we came to the conclusion that it would be best for everyone to go our seperate ways. It’s not because I dislike Death I Am’s music, or that we don’t get along anymore…but from now on I would like to be their fan and watch them continue on their journey.
I am grateful to everyone, the members, the fans, and anyone who supported us in any way possible. Thank you so much.
Death I Am is currently working on their 2nd album, I would appreciate it if everyone could support their future as well. Thank you.
Message from the band
Ito had been with us for 9 years. We feel very unfortunate to lose his bass approach, since it was one of our unique elements. However, we do understand his decision to leave the band and hope all the best in his future career.
One more thing we want to annouce is that we are NOT looking for a new bass player. Death I Am will be moving on as a three piece band. The reason for this is because our bond is tighter than ever and it is very hard to find a combination of people as good as this. In the past, due to a language difference it was hard for everyone to communicate within the band, but now the three of us are constantly communicating with each other. Now the amount of ideas have increased tremendously, the decision making has also sped up, and we are flooded with inspiration.
We feel this band is producing the best chemical reaction in its history. Death I Am is at its best and we are creating art that we are proud of.
We cannot wait to show everyone the material we have been writing, and we also cannot wait to play our next show.
